Aida Turns Three...
Aida's birthday was such a blast this year. This year Aida's Party was a Princess theme. We had dressing up fun, and Prince the pink pony, came for a visit. The kids all loved feeding, petting and riding him. Aida LOVED the Pony...she loved the pony so much that she cried every time she had to get off of prince to give her friends a chance to ride. I loved watching her just smile and smile when she went on her pony ride. Here are my most memorable memories of her day...
- I stressed for days to find Aida the most adorable birthday outfit. When we put it on her and she said "I want to wear something else and take this off." ----she wore the outfit...
- Her smile when she saw the pony coming into our backyard.
- How cute all of the kids were dressing up in their princess and knight costumes. Watching them check themselves out in the mirrors was too much fun.
- Having her cousins Kendall and Reese at her party this year. She was enamored by the babies and is going to be a great big cousin.
- Watching her blow out her candles at 3 -- the time has gone so fast.
- Having my god daughter Christie here to celebrate with us -- this is so special because she lives in NY and we don't get to visit enough.
- Remembering that Aida had no interest in opening up her presents whatsoever -- she was more interested in playing with her cousins --I know this will not last long so I don't want to forget.
Here are some pictures of our fun day...
This was such a great day...Happy 3rd Birthday Aida...We Love you more than anything...

Aida's First Dance Recital
This weekend was Aida's first Dance Recital. She danced to Boogie Woogie Piggy. We were so proud of Aida because she went out there even when she didn't want to. At one point before the show she told me she wanted to "put her costume in the trash because it was disgusting" before she went on stage :) So I had to promise her all kinds of ice-cream and swimming in order to get her to go. I couldn't be more proud of her for sticking it out and going on stage. Remember what her first week of dance was like?
She went from this...refusing to leave mommy's lap and crying through the whole class.
Doing a little boogie woogie...
